Bonnie Raitt
Re-Bop Records is honored and thrilled to have garnered Bonnie Raitt's support for "Even Kids Get The Blues," including a CD jacket quote and cameo contribution to the title track.

Nine-time Grammy winner Bonnie Raitt has sold more than 15 million albums during her career, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. Her most recent release is The Best of Bonnie Raitt On Capitol 1989-2003, released in September 2003. As the daughter of celebrated Broadway singer John Raitt (Carousel, Oklahoma!, The Pajama Game) and accomplished pianist/singer Marge Goddard, she was raised with a respect for the arts, Quaker traditions, and a commitment to social activism. At the age of eight, Bonnie received a Stella guitar as a Christmas present, sparking her passion for music. Bonnie continues to use her growing influence to affect the way music is perceived and appreciated in the world. In 1988, she co-founded the Rhythm and Blues Foundation, which works to improve royalties, financial conditions and recognition for a whole generation of R&B pioneers to whom she feels we owe so much. In 1995, she initiated the Bonnie Raitt Guitar Project with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, currently running 200 clubs around the world, to encourage underprivileged youth to play music as budgets for music instruction in the schools run dry. www.bonnieraitt.com

Little Kids Rock Founded in 1996, Little Kids Rock believes that music is a critical component of a first-rate education. Ongoing federal and state budget cuts have stripped countless elementary schools of their funding for music programs. These cuts have had a disproportionately large impact on children from low-income backgrounds. By providing economically disadvantaged children with free music instruction and instruments, Little Kids Rock actively works to restore music to its rightful place: as an integral part of the academic lives of public school students. Supporters of the program include Paul Simon, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Les Paul, Carlos Santana, the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir, The String Cheese Incident, Phish, and the late blues legend, John Lee Hooker. Re-Bop is donating a portion of the proceeds from "Even Kids Get the Blues" to Little Kids Rock. www.littlekidsrock.org
