TELL ME MORE…

Groovin’ with Mother Goose is the first release of our series of creative, educational recordings. Groovin’ is a cool pre-school "outloud" primer, created in partnership with Vermont Center for the Book (who uses it as the audio component to their Growing With Mother Goose literacy program).

With Mother Goose being so integral to our culture, this treasury of 55 classics is an important part of every child’s education. Engaging dialogue amongst the kids at "Mother Goose Music Camp"is scattered throughout the album, the premise being that talking aloud is a key piece in acquiring literacy. Groovin’ with Mother Goose features only kid performers so that listeners hearing kids converse, recite, and sing "live" will be inspired to do the same! The accompaniment is kept simple (mainly acoustic guitar or piano) so as not to take away from the singing and the intelligibility of the lyrics.
